Sequence #9 (0:33-0:35) is done !

It took me 4 tries to do that sequence.  I've never had such a painful headache after the 4 hours that took me to do the good one.  I think this is my favorite sequence so far.

Here it is

Some pictures of the set and of my setup can be seen on the previous post (below).

The set for the 9th sequence is ready

The preparation for the shooting of the 9th sequence is longer than i though.  I manage today to finish the indoor building, to place the set, to ajust setup and to calibrate the lightning.  Tomorrow i plan to graduate the camera path and do some more tests shots.  I hope to begin the shooting in a couple of days and to completely finish the post production before the end of next week.

Here's a montage shot i took while preparing my indoor building.

Here's some pictures of the setup for shooting this sequence.

Note 1: The camera is mount on a rotating axis.
Note 2: I replaced my camera for this camcorder for the shot because i don't have another one.

0:31 - 0:33 is done !

The last attempt was the good one.  The first two shooting of this sequence were failures.  The cause are two beginner's mistakes.  The first one was ruined by a wire masking a leg and the second one was to shoot pictures with a closed door opened while shooting the sequence. The light reflected by this door was enough to trouble the lightning when i decide too open it.  I didn't notice any problem until i compile the shots.

For the third and last attempt, i put a light over the door of one of the building to add light and shadows.  I pretty like the shadow of the character on the sidewalk when he passes in front of that door's light in the last part of the sequence.

Here it is

I shall change the lightning to have the rooftops darker.
