I've applied the latex quickly and got on the ground floor as it dried.

Brian: thanks man !

Ludo: Hey nice to see you're still alive. Waiting for updates on your blog, man ;) The paintjob is really scaring me off. Since i'm working on very low lights, i may not doing it as good as i should, but we will see how my newbie paint skills are doing when i'll get there. Yep, experimentations are the key.

Jeff: Thanks !

Ierotheos: Thanks for your comments sir. Just for your information, the action figure is called a Stikfas. If i was on day one, i would create one by myself, but since i'm on day 550 (approx.), i'll finish this with it. This project was supposed to be an "animation exercise" at first, but expanded so much with times... My first idea was to do it with a 8 inches Marcus Fenix action figure, but the limitations of the NECA toys articulations made me considered another type of toy. I didn't have at that time the confidence i have today to build one by myself. The movie should be finished by the end of August is everything goes well. Just take a look on this blog for further updates.Vincent Tétreaulthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05169504775867255475noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4028698169007810811.post-8162517704368670462011-05-17T20:52:58.801-04:002011-05-17T20:52:58.801-04:00Well crap, a perfect corpser! i was looking throug...Well crap, a perfect corpser! i was looking through corpser pictures on google when i stumbles on to your project. I'm saddened that you have to use a lego figurene but the effort and sweat that you put into this makes up for it 100 percent, i hope i'll be able to see the final product. :Pierotheoshttp://google.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4028698169007810811.post-20500573268010246162011-05-12T01:51:56.985-04:002011-05-12T01:51:56.985-04:00man...gets cooler all the time.

About the lightning I can tell you it can go two directions. Experiment a lot with colour, shadow direction and density. Maybe you can use the sun/moon behind the clouwds effect, like you did before in one of youre scenes.

Cheers!Ludo Weydenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02712112292895756576noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4028698169007810811.post-85458694162284686192011-05-09T09:18:43.547-04:002011-05-09T09:18:43.547-04:00I like the way your creature is coming along Vince...I like the way your creature is coming along Vincent! But seriously, maybe you can say how you ventilated for the latex? b/c I'm using a lot of balloon rubber (not foam latex) in my pupps and have just been using it near and open window.

Looking great.Shelley Noblehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10968333057020378002noreply@blogger.com
